'Jom Kayuh' - Kementerian Belia & Sukan

Shah Alam, 19th July 2009 – Associated Cyclosportif Trekkers (ACT) was honored to participate in the lauching of ‘Jom Kayuh’ program organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport. A total of 109 cyclists showed up which by far the biggest number for this year’s event.

Cyclists comprising men and women, young and old gathered at Extreme Park, Section 13 Shah Alam and get geared up as early as 7.30am to show their support to the program. They took this moment to meet up old friends, get updates of each other.

Environment Day

Pantai Morib - In the spirit to celebrate the World Environment Day, more than 80 cyclist of Assosciated Cyclosportif Trekkers (ACT) took part in a self-organized 87km ride to Port Dickson.

Rhyming the theme of the day –‘The Environment’, the Chief of Expedition strongly advised all cyclists to take this chance to really observe, understand and communicate to the surrounding environment – that includes the nature, the animals, and the people. Cyclists were also reminded to behave properly, respects local culture and tradition and appreciate all creations by the Almighty god.

Celcom Promotion Tour

30th May 2009, ACT club was invited for Celcom Promotion Tour in celebration of for the opening of telecommunication shop ‘Impian Insan Sdn Bhd’ in Section 9 Shah Alam. Around 50 cyclists joined the tour, with some of them in Celcom’s trade mark blue-coloured jersey.
