Welcome to the new layout!

This took a lot of work, time, and experiments.

I would like to welcome everybody to our new layout. We hope that this will get ACT closer to your heart. The fresh semi-blog look is hoped to make you more comfortable browsing and to be more user friendly. The color scheme is hoped to cool down your eyes. Overall what we hope is for all our users/visitors to have a pleasant time browsing through the pages and make things more easily accessible.

A picture tells you a thousand words. That’s why we decided to have a lot of picture essence, continuing the tradition from the old layout. Now we have more slideshows for you!

We have redesigned the way we structure our write ups and news to make it more interactive for you. You can now add your personal comments to the news, and other write ups. We really hope all users will be mindful and take own responsibility to ensure the content of your comments/views/ideas are being expressed in polite, structured, and must not touch the sensitivity of any other party. Should we find any of such we will not hesitate to take necessary actions, for good.

Something new this time - we have created the ‘Contribution’ section, so we welcome you to have your share here. Be it pictures, audio, video, articles, interesting sites, or anything else that you would like to share, please channel them all to us. Please ensure you let us know who you are – we require Full name, email address, contact number, which ACT chapter do you come from, and a short note about your work. Example as below:

I hope you’ve got the idea. The new layout is not designed for us, but for YOU. We want to hear more from you. We want you to be able to get more info from us. We truly want to have you to take each of ACT members as family, because that’s what we are.

Finally, I humbly thank the team that has worked very hard day and night (sometimes with very little sleep) just to get this new face of our beloved page up and running. Thank you too to our loyal users and visitors anywhere you are and wherever you are from. Together, we strive to achieve more; together we reach more – AS ONE!
