ACT moved a step forward in variety of activities by organizing its very first Ramah Mamah program, in line with celebration of Syawwal. The activity which was held at Kem Herba Sungai Chongkak witnessed a one-day event comprising cycling, BBQ, knowledge sharing, and the must-not-to be missed; the mandi sungai activity.

As a way to appreciate all ACT members that has worked hard in the recent Jamuan Hari Raya, it is also a chance for ACT members to break away from daily routines and spend quality time with family and friends. The beauty of the camp’s landscape which uniquely filled with various types of trees, herbs, spices, and rare species of plants plucked the heart of every guest. To add, the natural attraction of Chongkak river was the biggest bomb; water was crystal clear and shivering cold dragged the crowd from all ages to taste, feel and appreciate the magic of the nature.

Prior the start of the program, ACT Wilayah Persekutuan and ACT Penang took their ride around the area. Most cyclists shared common idea that strive to keep each self fit and healthy must never stop despite the celebration of Syawwal. It is also a good chance to leverage on good health foundation built during Ramadhan. Majority agreed that this is a good start towards better lifestyle.

Members of ACT Board spent some time for knowledge sharing with ACT members. Among issues discussed were the current achievement of the club and the way it is going forward, members’ welfare, and motivational boost on ACT’s mission and vision. Each ACT member were strongly encouraged to continue to mix with the society carrying good individual values. Each ACT member were also demanded to be a responsible citizen of Malaysia; living with highest spirit in love towards the country.

The crowd later enjoyed BBQ dish specially prepared by the Consumption Team, members took this opportunity to mingle among them, meeting and making friends. ACT Board members also took this time to go on the ground with members, enclosing the Silaturrahim between themselves and club members. It was a beautiful, peaceful and friendly ambiance with the sound of laughter from all areas, kids running around freely, outsiders that came into the area too; enjoyed the moment with warm welcome by ACT members and admired the attitude of ACT members throughout the activity.

Program ended at around 1700hrs, some stayed longer enriching every seconds of precious moments. Alhamdulillah throughout program there was no accident/ incident reported and all participants expressed they had a good time. Hopefully such activity can be conducted again in the future and larger crowd could be invited to make it bigger and merrier. Not to forget, big warm congratulations to the organizer for smooth running of the program.
